Angle steel is the most basic rolled steel, also known as angle iron or angle steel, angle steel is a finished product made of semi-finished carbon steel by hot forming, which is bent from one corner of a piece of steel. The angle steel is "L" type; the most common steel angle is a 90 degree angle. The legs of the "L" can be equal or unequal in length.

Since angle steel is primarily used to provide structural support, the ideal composition is a low-alloy, high-strength steel with good ductility and toughness. With this in mind, different uses of steel angles include construction, manufacturing, engineering, bridges, warehouses, equipment manufacturing, supporting frames, shelving, and even utility vehicles, used to reinforce walls, provide support for roof beams, create frames for doors and windows etc.
